Volunteer with FLAGS
Flags Across The Nation turned 11 years old on 9/11, 2012. FLAGS initially started when a group of teachers in San Diego, California wanted to make a patriotic difference in the lives of civilians, military, veterans and people of all ages. From this initial start in 2001, volunteers have come forward from the military, veterans, work force, schools, families and from people of all ages and from throughout the United States,
How can you get involved?
Head up one of our projects in your city. Get your school, family, club or office to write letters. Create a patriotic drawing. Contribute to our social media pages. Decorate pillowcases for our recovering soldiers. Make blankets for wounded warriors who are now in recovering programs. Help us with fundraising. Help us find sponsors. Get involved with us!
Let us know if you are interested in the following: write Letters to the Troops, help make Blankets for Recovery for our wounded soldiers and create with our newest project Patriotic Pillowcases, collect yarn and fabric, so we can give it to our blanket makers, or donate money to Flags Across The Nation.
Why is volunteering is so important?
